clear is a singer who has translucent, gentle-sounding voice and is supported by a variety of age groups on the Internet. He writes his own song lyrics and is currently working on composing music. He has been friends with nero since junior high, and was the vocalist in a band they started in high school.
clear started to upload songs on the Internet in 2008, and his views increased gradually until he posted "magnet" in May 2009. It became a huge hit and his popularity was able to skyrocket. "magnet" currently has over 3.5 million playbacks, and his videos have an increasing total of over 25 million playbacks! nero is a singer characterized by a deep, warm voice, that can stretch to hit high notes. He started working for a Tokyo clubhouse in 2006, where he worked for 4 years. He was part of several units and bands, and was able to gain experience on the stages of many concert halls. He has been friends with clear since junior high, and was the guitarist in a band they started in high school.
"Cantarella," posted in Janurary 2010, was nero's first uploaded work and a collaboration with clear. The upload became incredibly popular and their voices spread across the country in the blink of an eye. The video currently has almost 1.5 million views. This hit triggered the unit "cleanero" to be formed in December of that year. Their first doujin album, FIRST CONTACT, sold an unprecedented amount of copies.
Two months after Cantarella, nero started to upload solo works that quickly appeared on Chaku Uta and were used in Official Nico Nico Douga events.
In 2012, nero became the main vocal for "nero project," a team of various performers and vocalists. Known for his worldwide hit "Senbonzakura," KuroUsaP produced many of the songs. The project's first album "monochrome" captivated many people with the way it utilized high-caliber techniques.
Now, nero travels around the country for cleanero events, where they preform in a myriad of concert halls.
